The veteran program was sad in some ways. It was fun going into the gyn in line of the patrol lines. The veterans are hard workers for freedom. They are like our heros of america.
Today we honored our veterans. We are very proud of the men and women

Veteran's day is about the being thankful for our heros, and heroines. Those who died in the battle field died for our freedom, and other things. Some people are angry, or sad that some one in their family has died. Some don't understand what Veteran's day is about. I claim this comment in name of the Veterans that have lost their lifes, fighting for us.
Today at the Veterans Program I remembered how thankful I was for my great-grandpa. He fought in World War II. I never got to see him, but I knew he was a wonderful man and I wish I saw him!

I think that vaterans day is cool! I wonder how it started. Does anyone know? I think that the program was good. It was good especialy when they gave the veterans a standing ovation for, like, 3 full minutes. Isn't that cool? I think it's awesome!

Veteran's Day was so cool to see all the veteran's at the program. Did you see all the people wearing red. I think there was more then 35veteran's there. Veteran's Day is so cool to see how many people were serving in the war.
I think veterans day program was very cool seeing the veterans that fought for our country in World War2. My great uncle fought and died in the Pearl Harbor. My Grandpa was in the Navy out in the open sea,but then he became a electrical wire dude in Watertown SD-after the war or when he retired. We will always remember the people that fought for our country. Keep praying for them!
Veteran's day means alot to me and my family. Veterans are a hero and a hero can and is everyone. For alot of people it reminds them of the hard tasks a family member has been through and maybe lost there life.A hero can even be a patrol member helping little kids across the street. Helping a person makes you a hero!!!

I think Vetrens Day is important to America because soliders are risky their lives for us. Every soilder in the Armed Forces is special to me. I feel very safe when I am at home because the soliders are protecting us the whole USA.

My grandpa is a veatran but you wouldn't know it. my grandpa's rank was private first class or (pfc). My Grandpa worked with 105 howitzers. He ran the telephone lines up to the gunners.

It was sweet. Some Vetrans came and told a story. One told a story about this Vetran draged a nother one to the capten. The Vetran was his son. I thought that was a very sad story.

Today Wed. the 11th we went to the high school for a Veteran's Day program. I thought that some of the stories that were told we very thoughtful. Today the schools wore red it was like a sea of red. Someone took a photo of the schools wearing red.

veterans day was sad i almost cried about the story about the brother of oscar J. other than that i had a good time, but when we walked home i tripped on a stick and fell on my butt. when we got there we had to march as patrol men and women. we also got to listen to the 8th graders to sing and the 9th and up graders to play in band. it was an awsome.

TOdays program was sad when the guy was telling the story about the son and father. The father did not know that the son was on the other side of the line. The son was crolling on his bely to get to his fatheron the other side. The son was serching for music. The son entered the war knowing that the father was in the war. thats the sad part.
