On our first snow day me and my mom baked all day. We baked thumbprints and frosted them, chex mix, slush, i don’t know what they are called it was a pretzel with a rolo in it then melt it a little then push a M&M’s in the middle, and cut out cookies. I watched TV to.I all so had to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. I went out side to play.6B JD
One the first snow day this year I woke up at 7:36 and turned on the tv. School was only two hours late. I looked out my window and said I can’t believe we had school. Then at 7:46 I saw we didn’t have school. I cheered all morning. I was happy. Then I went down and ate breakfast with Morgan and Justin. Then a little bit later I went on the computer. I was on the computer most of the day because I got kind of bored. At 2:45, Brittany and I went with Dennis to Gary to get something to drink, and gas for the snowmobiles. At 3:15 Brittany, Brittany, and I, fired up the snowmobiles and went snowmobiling. When we got back in side we made cheese cake and spaghetti.6b-BM
I went outside for ten minutes to grab a razor blade and a bucket of corn. The bucket of corn was for making heat pads for gifts. We made heat pads because my grandpa’s pillow stated on fire because a spark from a plug-in heat pad land on the pillow. That is why we made corn heat pads for everybody In my family. You put them in the microwave for two minutes and his hot but relaxing.B-6 MIT
On my awesome snow day I mainly played our computer, created a Facebook, and played a very rough basketball game with my brother in my room. I didn’t even now Facebook existed until one of my friends told me to make one and get on so we could chat, ‘cause I guess he was kinda bored. 6B/JH
Well first of all, I snow blew our entire driveway. Whew that was a lot of work. It seemed like 100 feet of the ground. I also went to Marshall with my dad to get basketball shorts and Christmas present for my family I got my brother the movie “Hancock.” On the way back we stop at Pizza Hut and got a Panormous pizza for my family. I thought it was tiny. When we got home we had dinner and then I watched Monday Night Football. 6G JG
On our first snow day, I slept in. Then, I woke up and helped mom decorate the house with Christmas stuff. It was sort of fun! But something even more fun was that we played Hide and go seek me and Wyatt had the best spot it was sweet. We hid for like 30 minutes. Finally got out of our spot. It was the best, First snow day of the year! 6G MDJ
On my snow day I went down stairs went on my computer for about an hour. Then I went upstairs to play my X-Box and back and forth I went so that is what I did my whole day. So I did that and my mom came home early from work and made me supper. My mom went to bed early and I then went to bed at 9:00
It was a great snow day because I did not have to plow the drive way. I went sledding down my biggest hill. I played the super bowl and the pro bowl on my game Madden 09, I won them both to. Then I watched the Vikings kick the Cardinals butt. QB G6
I played videogames and watched tv all day. I would of shoveled but it was to cold to go outside. It was so cold that we had to put my dog in the basement. I had waffles for breakfast and watched Monday Night Football. I fell asleep before the t-wolves started.
I had to do my chores like usually and I cleaned out most of the basement. When I got done with that I went down to my cousins and played Call of Duty World at War. After that we played guitar hero 3 on co-op campaign. Then we hate and went back up to play Call of Duty World at War, after I went home and took a shower and then went to bed.
On the snow day I played on my sister’s Wii for 4 hours and 12 minutes, I played Zelda Twilight Princess. It’s a very fun game. Before I played on the Wii, Nancy, Megan and I watched the movie “Holes”, and we had cookies and cinnamon rolls, they were very yummy, after we finished playing Wii, I played my piano, flute and I read a little. After I finished reading my dad came home and we watched “Holes” again because my dad wanted to watch it. Then I went to bed. AB B6
On December 15, our first snow day, I stayed home. At home I stayed in my room and read a book. The book is very good. It was surprisingly boring for the first snow day. 6B SA
On the day of our first snow day, I mostly sat around and was lazy. I played Tetris and computer games. I watched a lot of TV that day. It wasn’t overall a very unique day other than no school. I did what I normally do on weekends. I did play a lot with my sisters, which I normally don’t do. Those were the only things that happened over the snow day.
Ok so you want to know about my snow day? Well it wasn’t all it cracked up to be. I mean I thought it was going to be the best day EVER, But all I ended up doing was staying home with weirdo little brother, silly little sister and babysitting while my mom did TAXES! YUCK! Anyway it wasn’t all that bad, I did get to wrap some presents, it is not the best but it’s something to do. Other then that I had a pretty boring snow day… Oh wait I did do one thing fun I went sledding with my two sisters Erin, and Nicole! That was the best and coldest part of my snow day! (It was cold because we went outside at 4:30 and we were out till 6:00ish) Well that was my snow day! BK/B6
I was stuck inside waiting for it to stop so I could go outside. Before the Blizzard I was outside making a fort for me and my brothers. 2 hours after it started there was a 4 foot snow bank in front of your garage. The next day dad and me took the snowplow from his work and pushed out all the snow.
On December 15th the day of the snow day I was shoveling. I had to shovel really big hills of snow 2 of them. After that since it was too cold to go outside I just relaxed at home. That night before I went to bed I was watching football with my dad. That’s how my snow day was.
On December 15th 2008 the first snow day of THE School year I went outside but I did not stay out there very long because it was very cold. I decorated cookies and watched some TV and look at the Christmas tree. JC-6B
On December 15, the first snow day I got up and looked at the news. Canby Elementary Schools were delayed. I went in the kitchen and made my family breakfast, I made eggs, and sausage, but my sisters had cereal. When I was done I saw on the news that school was closed. “Yippee” I thought and the rest of the day I relaxed, played video games, and on the computer. KJ 6B
On the 15th I got to go over to my Grandma’s house, it was fun in the beginning, but a little bit later one of my friends little brother came to my Grandma’s house because my Grandpa got home from working on the road, so he picked up Tyler and the rest of the day was so not fun anymore, I felt like taking a nap, and I never liked to take a nap, not even now. What you did on December 15th, our first snow day. Good question. First it was a boring day from the start. There was nothing on TV that’s why it was so boring. Of course it was too cold to go outside. This is how the day started. First I got up took a shower then I went to the TV. We canceled church because it was too cold and showy. We watched a movie. My mom was still at work. Anyway back to the story. After I watched TV I went to the kitchen and got a bowl of corn flakes. Next my brother got up that’s when the day went downhill. He took the TV and I was stuck with nothing to do. I cleaned my room then I did my homework because I was sick for 3 days. I got that done then I went and worked on my erector set. That is a toy that has a lot of parts and you can build all kinds of things. Then I went out and did my rabbits and I put something to cover Ace he’s my rabbit. Then I came in side and finished my homework. Then I got my pajamas on and went to bed. Then I got up to go to the bathroom. It took a long time to get out of there I hope I never do that again. That was my day off. Boring right at list I thought it was. Expect the part where I know school was going to be canceled the next day. NC-B6

I really didn't do any thing except read and watch tv. Also play vidoe games
