2010 Resolutions

6th Graders: as the new year begins, I want you to think of 2 resolutions that you hope to keep in 2010. As you type your resolutions, also include how you plan to keep the resolutions. Be sure to sign your entry with 6B/6G and your initials. I look forward reading your entries!

Example:
In 2010, I plan to exercise more by running at least 3 times per week. I hope to do this after school each day and I want to run at least 2 miles each time. I also want to serve my family more fresh fruits and vegetables during our family meals. I will do this by planning my meals on Sunday, prior to buying groceries. This will allow me to pick up all of the fresh fruits and vegetables at our local grocery store.

How to Cook a Turkey

6th Graders:
You are in charge of cooking the turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. Please describe in detail, how you would cook a turkey. Your format can be in sentence form or similar to a recipe. Check your spelling, read over your work before posting, and be sure to sign 6B/6G and your initials to your entry.

The Oldest Students in the School

Can you believe you are 6th graders? As the oldest students in the school, what do you feel are your responsibilities to the K-5 students? Be creative and think "outside of the box!" Write 4-5 sentences describing these responsibilities. Sign your entry with 6B/6G and your initials.

Veteran's Day

Write 4-5 sentences describing Veteran's Day. You may refer to the program this morning or to Veteran's Day in general. Use descriptive writing, be creative and original! Sign your entry with 6B/6G and your initials. Remember we do not use our names on our blog.
